Body Armour
The term “Body Armour” comprises all products that provide active ballistic protection. We have subdivided this section into three main categories, depending on the parts of the human body the respective products are supposed to protect:

- Body Armour Vests (Trunk/Torso)

- Protection Helmets (Head)

- Goggles and Tactical Eyewear (Eyes)

The Body Armour Vests we offer in this section can be used either by civilians seeking protection from threats they may have to face, or by police and military professionals, who have to protect themselves during their daily work. Due to the highest demand, we mainly focus on items meeting protection levels 1 (SK1) and 4 (SK4), however, our choice comprises a wide range of products thus covering all protection levels. Eventually, you, the customer, decide which protection level you need, as this always depends on individual circumstances.

The primary target group with respect to the Protection Helmets are police and military professionals. While a combat helmet is part of a regular soldier’s and, of course, of the military special forces’ standard equipment, the situation is different at the police, where ballistic helmets are used almost exclusively by  police special forces. For civilians, particularly for employees of relief organisations or for representatives of the press, the purchase of a ballistic helmet could be a sensible investment if, for example, they have to work in conflict areas. In these cases as well we offer individual solutions.

Goggles are particularly used by the Bundeswehr and other armed forces units deployed abroad. Especially when deployed in Afghanistan (ISAF) or in Iraq, it is essential for the troops to wear ballistic goggles due to the danger of being wounded by booby traps. Ballistic goggles not only may save a soldier’s eyesight in case of an IED (improvised explosive device) attack but also improve visual acuity and reduce glare by means of interchangeable lenses.
