The "Milan" plate carrier is a newly developed piece of body armour we manufacture in cooperation with Multidesign.
The trigger for the development of this plate carrier was first-hand information on the requirements a plate carrier should meet. For months we have been receiving recommendations from soldiers and reservists, and with the “Milan” plate carrier we have taken account of the most important of these recommendations.
The plate carrier
- can be equipped with modular pouches (IDZ and MOLLE) according to your specifications,
- features a pull cord emergency quick-release system,
- can be completely disassembled and quickly reassembled again,
- can be used with Level 4 (SK4) inserts of all Bundeswehr ballistic vests and with standard ballistic plates (30cm x 25cm),
- features an evacuation strap on the back and front panel,
- features separate pockets to accommodate Level 4 (SK4) ceramic plates,
- is manufactured to the current quality standards and specifications of the Bundeswehr (Technische Lieferbedingungen der Bundeswehr),
- features high-quality straps and buckles approved by the Bundeswehr.
The emergency quick-release system allows to remove the vest very quickly in extreme situations.
The plate carrier can be used with all standard hard armour inserts.
The universal fit (S-XL) "Milan" plate carrier is highly adjustable. For an enhanced protection coverage it can be ordered with longer side panels.
You may also separately purchase used Level 4 (SK 4) ceramic plates, which we offer at very favourable prices.
