Though the vest cover has been taken out of service by the Bundeswehr, it shows only minimal signs of wear. One of these signs may be a slightly washed-out inside of the collar that, to provide higher wearing comfort, is not made from Cordura but from the softer fabric in 5-colour-camo used for field shirts.

 

We thoroughly inspect the incoming vest covers and, depending on the condition, assign them to one of the (price) categories below:

 

•Category K (a complete vest cover without any defects)

•Category A (a clean vest cover in a very good condition with some minor defects)

•Category B (a clean vest cover in a usable condition, however showing loose stitching, missing buckles or straps, etc.)

•Category C (a dirty vest in a bad condition showing tears, a number of missing buckles or straps, etc.) 

 

The vest is manufactured from very hard-wearing fabric and features a number of loops and pockets to suit various needs. At the back and front side the vest cover has plate pockets to accommodate Level 4 (SK4) ballistic plates.
